Let me start by saying, I am not a fanatic about having every item I own having to be organic, and natural! But lately I've just been thinking to myself, "why not?" why not buy natural products that work well and are beneficial to me and the environment?
Believe me, I used to think that natural products were only for hard core hippies, and that they didn't work at all! But after trying a few natural products and reading reviews on others, I think that a lot of companies have come a long way, and sometimes these natural products are even better than name brand ones with not so good ingredients in them! I still have a few name brand favorite makeup brands that I will still use every once in a while, but for my day to day routine, I would like to start switching over to more natural beauty products!
I've actually had a lot of fun researching some amazing organic, and natural cosmetic and skin care lines! And I'm really looking forward to trying them! Anyway, today I bought a few items that I'm really excited to try!! I got Yes cucumber facial wipes, some luscious smelling body soap, and a delicious lip balm from Alba!
By the way, my philosophy on using organic and natural products is similar to how I think of food... I usually only eat healthy and organic food, but every once in a while having candy or some other indulgent food is not going to kill you! So, I'm mostly going to use natural products but I will definitely make exceptions! (Because I love the items I have from M.A.C haha
)
So far I've used the lips balm, and the wipes, and both are great!!! The lip balm tastes and smells sooooo good, I feel like I'm on a tropical vacation! And the wipes felt really fresh and did a great job with taking my makeup off!
I'm really excited to try this soap, it smells so good!!!!
