Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!!! I hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve! I didn't take many pictures so I'll just show you what I wore, and a yummy dessert my mom made!

p.s. This dress is vintage, and my shoes are Jeffrey Campbell. And below is my new nail polish I got for Christmas. It's called "Be a dahlia, won't you" from O.P.I.

So, now time to talk about the new year. I never make any great New Year's resolutions, besides the typical, eat less, exercise more....well I probably need to do that too, but I have a few better ones that I've never done. This time they are more manageable hopefully!

~Finish projects.(I have a real problem with this, I have so many unfinished pieces of art!!! you have no idea!)
~Maybe grow my bangs out, just to see if I can do it, I never can, but I really want to try just to challenge myself!
~Be more organized and get rid of a lot of stuff(I have so many little nick nacks, and I seriously need to take a trip to the container store) even if that means I'll have to hide my little collectables.
~And lastly......Post more!!!!!!!
     I know this year I was so awful about it and I went through an insane stage of switching blogs and all sorts of other things! But this time I think I know what I'll focus on more. My blog will be more of a life style blog and showing my art and updates on my Etsy shop. But, I'll also sprinkle in some outfits, beauty stuff, cooking, and any other random things. Because isn't that what a lifestyle blog is?
    Plus, I've come to the conclusion that I am not a fashion blogger. Don't get me wrong, I love clothes and everything about it, but I just cannot keep up with outfit posts!!! I think that's what I was struggling with a while back and I finally had to realize that, that just wasn't and isn't me! So, yes you will still see what I'm wearing and my makeup but...my blog is not a fashion blog or a makeup blog.
    I also want to thank people who still follow me. I know I've been kind of a crazy, unreliable blogger and even though I don't get a lot of comments, I see and know, that some are still following, and that really makes me happy. Also, I don't want to ramble but that was another thing I was struggling with, less comments, and why I started to doubt myself. But I'm okay with it now. I'm blogging because I want to look back and see all of the things I did, and if I get comments along the way I will appreciate them but I won't dwell over how many I get anymore. Not dwelling and worrying over things will be another resolution to work on haha!

   Anyway, after all of that, here is my next crochet project!!!! I'm making a cat! Make sure to keep checking back to see how it's coming along!
