Room makeover and NEW clothes!

This weekend I changed my room quite a bit, I got a bigger bed! It looks so magical because of the net and the flower lights! I'm so happy about it, I feel like I could spend all day in my room on my big bed! I also went shopping and found some great stuff at H&M and I got the new BAZAR magazine (runway report) for Fall!

Two things that I am obsessed with are changing the colors and settings on my pictures and nail polish. These two things don't really have anything in common but with different settings I think it made my nail polish color look even cooler!   

Longing For Long Hair

Not only is this a photo of my favorite actress and style icon(Zooey Deschanel), I absolutely LOVE her hair! Now I know what you're thinking, "those look like hair extensions!" Well they probably are, but I am hoping to get my hair to this fabulous, romantic, princess/fairy like hair length, so wish me luck!

Black and White Sailor Moon

First of all, most kids who grew up in the 90's watched sailor moon; either religiously or occasionally, maybe while you were at a friends house. I for one, was one of those kids and every time I watched it I dreamt of being that cartoon girl with long blond pigtails(even though I've always had brown hair). Not until recently was I able to fulfil my dreams of becoming Sailor Moon, when I got this little shirt/dress that looks similar to a Sailor Moon type outfit, and long pigtails(still brown). 

Plus if you haven't already noticed, everything is black and white, this is because I am obsessed with anything black and white. Somehow I'm always drawn to black and white; when I go clothes shopping I walk to the dressing room with a variety of black and white garments in my arms, so I thought it would be funny to post a picture of my black and white favorite shoes of the moment along with my Sailor Moon outfit!     

I Wish I Was Yours

Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and belong to a handsome bad boy in the 1950s; it is my ultimate dream. For example I would try to capture the heart of James Dean or captivate the heart of the kind hearted hillbilly, Cry Baby. So in honor of my favorite time and style I went with a pinup look, a little headband with delicate little hearts each beating for the painfully handsome 1950s men.    

Pure Beauty? Or Artificial?

These are some pictures of me, a few with no makeup and a few with makeup (one touched up with effects). Now I know it sounds a little hypocritical to say this (because I am a victim of this too) but sometimes women wear too much makeup and/or the media portrays beauty as perfect, with no blemishes. I am a victim of the heavy duty makeup user because I wear it every day, religiously. Sometimes I even tell myself, "Today will be the day I will go makeup less" but it never is. I look in the mirror and tell myself, "You don't look that bad, but you could look even better!" So I give in to the cries of my Dior blackout mascara and my M.A.C. bush and continue on with my day.

So I don't know when that day will come of being brave enough to face the world without my perfect mask, but I hope it will be some day soon and maybe for other women too.
