Halloween Party!

   On friday I went to my friend's Halloween party and had so much fun!!! As you can see I went as a day of the dead skull, I think it turned out pretty well! So here are some pictures from the night! I should also mention that some of these pictures were taken by my friend's room mate (Miranda), I want to make sure she gets photo credits because they're really nice pictures :)

















Before everyone got there I helped decorate and I did my friend Vanessa's makeup, she was a chola hahha







This is the best picture of me and Cyrous, he decided to be a zombie so I did his makeup too haha, this picture is pretty creepy right? Oh, I also made his torn up and bloody shirt!





This is my cute little friend Phoebe as Cleopatra, I also did her eye makeup! You can see Cyrous' costume better to the right of her hehe

New Coat

   The other day my mom and I went to a local hospice shop, which used to be my favorite in high school because no one went there and it was right next to my school, so I would walk there and find really cool stuff! But then people started catching on and there was never anything good in there when I would check. But the other day I drove by and saw some really great stuff in the window, so we went the next day!!
   They were having a half off deal on all vintage clothing!!! I found this coat which I'm guessing is from the 50's and my mom said my grandma may have had one similar. Also, I can't find one like this anywhere online so they must be more rare maybe? Anyway, it's in perfect condition and fits me perfectly and it was about $17 after the half off!! So it was a great deal and I can't wait to wear it this winter!!!





 Also, I have these cute earrings that my grandpa sent me last Halloween, that I didn't get around to wearing! But I'm definitely going to wear them this time, aren't they cute?!

Vintage Tattoo Girl

  So, here is my first Halloween, makeup tutorial! It's an old fashioned tattoo of a girl. I always see these and think they are really cool looking so I thought I'd try it out! Today's Makeup & Halloween Nails

 I used my big E.L.F. eyeshadow palette for the blue and gray eyeshadow.
And the the nail polishes I used are: Siren, by Revlon ( the orange), Lickety Split Lime, by Sally Hansen (the green), and the white is one from urban outfitters called "White out"

Happy Birthday Mom!!!!

   On the 4th was my mom's birthday, I'm sorry for posting this so late, but better late than never right?! So anyway, during the day it was pretty casual and we hung out and had cupcakes and opened presents...but my dad and I had a surprise for my mom for dinner!
    Every year we go to her favorite restaurant, Chez Panisse, well this year she didn't think we were going there! So we told her we were going somewhere nice for dinner and told her to close her eyes in the car, and when she got there she opened her eyes and was so surprised!!!! I'm glad it was a surprise and that we got to still carry on her birthday tradition!
